Sunwhite® Calrose Rice is an oval medium-grain white rice known for its quality and taste. When cooked, Calrose rice becomes soft and tender with a tendency to stick together due to its succulent grains, allowing it to retain its moisture. Sunwhite® Calrose Rice is used in dishes that require a bit more creaminess as well as a side dish to compliment almost every meal. Its versatility means that it can be used in everything from starters and soups to desserts. For best results, rinse this rice with cold water. Drain well before cooking.   • 1 Mango (ripe)

  • 2 cup Sunwhite Medium Grain Rice

  • 1 can Coconut Milk

  • 1⅓ cup Water

  • 1 tbsp Butter

  • 1 Black Sesame Seeds

  • ¼ tsp Salt

  • 1½ cup Coconut Milk

  • ¾ cup Coconut Sugar

White medium grain rice is a round, tender and succulent grain, allowing it to lock in moisture when it is cooked. This rice is often used in dishes that require a bit more creaminess, like paella or risotto. It is also ideal in your favourite Middle Eastern, Korean and Spanish dishes.

Method

  • Immerse your rice in water for an hour or two to get that perfect texture.

  • After rinsing, transfer your rice to a pot and add coconut milk and water to it. Boil, cover, and simmer until the liquid is absorbed.

  • Once cooked, let it cool down before shaping it into cute oval rice balls.

  • Time to whip up that irresistible coconut sauce! Combine coconut milk, butter, and coconut sugar in a saucepan, bring it to a boil, and let it simmer until it thickens up.

  • Finally, add the finishing touches by topping your rice balls with juicy slices of mango and pouring a drizzle of that luscious coconut sauce over them. Don't forget to sprinkle some black sesame seeds on top to give it that added flair.
