  1. In a pot of boiling water, boil the lentils for only 30 minutes, then drain the lentils.

  2. In another saucepan, heat a little oil.

  3. Put the washed and drained rice, then the lentils.

  4. Leave the mixture on the fire until the rice grains are cooked, about 45 minutes.

  5. In a frying pan, heat enough oil and fry the onions until golden and crunchy

  6. Pour the mujadara into plates.

  7. Garnish with onions and pomegranate.
